“The Journey of Your” Exhibition

Do You Know Where Your Donated Clothes Go?

Many individuals donate their clothes without knowing where the clothes end up. The purpose of this exhibition is to show the possiblities of where clothes go once they are donated. Viewers will be more educated in the choices they make when they donate their own clothes.

Logo Lockups:

The logo is worded as “The Journey of Your/My” and it is open ended because the exhibition shows different journeys. Any of the following is applied to the end of the title:

This tube will be in the middle of the exhibition room so that viewers can walk around it a read the information while seeing the clothes inside.

Surrounding Walls of the Exhibtion:

The Journey of Your New T-shirt shows how a T-shirt starts in Texas and travels to China, Bangladesh, and to NYC for retail.

The Journey of Your Sweatshirt shows one possibility of where your donated clothes might end up. In this case, the sweatshirt ends up being recycled as a rag.

The Journey of My Donated Bag displays Daniele Selby’s story of how she found out her donated bag ended up in Nidhal’s hands in Tunisia.
